We are very happy to announce that two wonderful physicians, who bring with them a great deal of experience, will be joining us.
Dr. Gillian Adams, currently the Medical Director and lead physician for many years of a MedStar practice in Alexandria, will be joining CMG Adult Medicine in August. Dr. Adams has over 25 years of clinical experience in
Family Medicine and will become the CMG Adult Medicine’s lead physician.
She attended VCU Medical School, and completed her residency at Franklin Square Medical.
CMG is also very excited to welcome Dr. Kweku Hayford in May. Dr. Hayford attended Dartmouth medical school, completed his residency at Johns Hopkins, and has over 20 years of experience practicing Internal Medicine.
We are very excited to welcome him and he will be a wonderful addition to our team.
Beyond the additions of Drs. Adams and Hayford, we are planning to hire additional physicians in the near future, and we will share updates at that time.
CMG remains committed to having compassionate, caring, and experienced providers and staff for our patients.
We kindly ask for your understanding as these transitions take place. Please note that CMG Adult Medicine is currently closed to new patients. Until we have more availability, we will only be able to accommodate established patients. Established patients at CMG are patients who have had an Annual Wellness Visit at CMG in the last 3 years.
